Lead Mover Job Description

As a Lead Mover with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving, you will be responsible for leading a team of movers and ensuring the successful completion of jobs. This role requires strong communication skills, time management, and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of movers and delegate tasks to ensure job completion
  • Manage time and workload to meet deadlines
  • Wrap furniture safely and securely
  • Load move trucks efficiently
  • Present move paperwork and collect payment
  • Drive a 20 to 26 moving truck
  • Communicate with Senior Management and report job status
  • Train and mentor junior team members

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of moving experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to work
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds for extended periods
  • Enjoy hard work, excellent customer service, and helping others
  • Excited about joining a growing organization
  • Pass a federal background check

Compensation: $15-$30 per hour, including hourly pay and performance-based bonuses.
