Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, directing and administering occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting.

This role involves administering occupational therapy to patients throughout their lifespan, providing age-specific direct care services to a diverse patient population.

The successful candidate will coordinate, delegate and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff, ensuring effective resource utilization and operational stability within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and plan occupational therapy treatment for patients
  • Administer occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician
  • Provide age-specific direct care services to patients
  • Coordinate, delegate and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff
  • Ensure effective resource utilization and operational stability within the organization

Qualifications:

  • 4 Year Bachelors Degree
  • Occupational Therapy Florida State License
  • 1-2 Years of Hand therapist Experience Preferred
  • BLS Certification
