Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at St. David's Georgetown Hospital. As a key member of our Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing Imaging exams in accordance with standards and practices set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Radiology Department policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently produce images of optimal diagnostic quality on patients ranging from Neonatal to Geriatric age groups.
  • Operate Imaging equipment in diagnostic radiology, CT and MRI along with all related equipment efficiently and effectively.
  • Complete quality imaging in a timely manner, effectively organizing and prioritizing work flow to meet STAT and urgent demands while continuing to meet OP customer standards.
  • Review written orders, assess patient medical record for allergies, possible pregnancy and other pertinent data prior to performing study.
  • Communicate with Ordering Physicians and staff to clarify imaging orders prior to completion when necessary.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program approved by the AMA.
  • Texas Department of State Health Services – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT).
