Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Supply Management: Order and manage maintenance supplies and materials to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance issues outside of regular working hours to minimize disruption to operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of general carpentry and repair, including minor electrical, plumbing, and sheetrock/drywall repairs; ability to use hand tools and power tools; excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Physical Demands: Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 75 pounds; frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
