We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lyons HR. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Supply Management: Order and manage maintenance supplies and materials to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance issues outside of regular working hours to minimize disruption to operations.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of general carpentry and repair, including minor electrical, plumbing, and sheetrock/drywall repairs; ability to use hand tools and power tools; excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Physical Demands: Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 75 pounds; frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
