As a kitchen team member at bartaco, you will play a crucial role in making all the magic happen. You will work closely with our executive chef, sous chef, and line cook team to ensure that we are serving food that meets bartaco's standards for quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for putting your heart into ensuring the kitchen and line are properly stocked with the necessary fresh food items to complete orders on time, while following proper food safety and sanitation standards to guarantee guest safety.
  • Follow recipes with high attention to detail, preparing all food items to bartaco specifications, including cleaning and cutting the ingredients, and may assist in cooking food items.
  • You may assist with stocking and organizing daily and weekly deliveries, and setting up the restaurant kitchen stations.
  • Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment as needed.
  • May need to assist with dish washing to complete tasks, as well as sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils, etc.
  • Always apply our food safety standards.
  • Communicate with fellow team members.
  • Restaurant cleanliness; keeping the kitchen and your workstation in our restaurants looking fantastic.
  • Help create memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $12 to $15 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive meal discounts when dining at bartaco, paid vacation time, gym and fitness center discounts available through Cigna, and access to Duolingo language courses.

We also offer medical, dental, and vision insurance for all full-time team members, as well as mental health coverage provided through our partners @headspace.
