Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU RN to join our team at Incredible Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide exceptional care to patients recovering from surgery, ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to discharge.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality post-operative care to patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms of anesthesia
  • Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management and potential complications
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or similar high-acuity setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems
