Position Overview:
The Nursing Unit Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Director of Nursing in delivering effective and efficient nursing care while ensuring positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, guide, and oversee the clinical operations of nursing units during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
  • Facilitate the execution of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, and coordinating with other departments.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff levels for safe, 24/7 care, focusing on minimizing overtime and agency personnel usage.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, orientation for new hires, and provide recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications:
*Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, college, or university; BSN preferred.
*Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Pay Target: $57.00 per hour
