Position Overview: The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing patients who experience impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities, as well as other health-related conditions. This role involves determining appropriate diagnoses, prognoses, and intervention strategies tailored to each patient’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and document findings to clarify patient complaints and functional limitations.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing physical function, alleviating pain, and preventing further dysfunction.
- Maintain comprehensive records of prognosis, treatment progress, and patient responses in accordance with professional standards.
- Set and document specific goals for patient recovery, and plan for ongoing evaluations to track progress.
- Assess the effectiveness of treatment at various stages and make necessary adjustments to optimize patient outcomes.
- Perform strength and functional capacity tests, and record relevant data for ongoing analysis.
- Educate patients on their care plans, empowering them to continue their rehabilitation independently.
- Develop, implement, and modify therapeutic interventions to address impairments and functional limitations.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist license issued by the appropriate state board.
- Completion of required fit testing for N95 particulate respirators.
- A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
