Position Overview: The Installation Mechanic acts as the crew leader for HVAC installations, overseeing Installation Assistants on-site and managing both residential and commercial HVAC system replacements and installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive punctually at the warehouse to prepare the truck with necessary materials.
- Supervise installation projects to ensure adherence to all relevant standards, policies, and safety protocols, while maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Execute proper startup procedures and resolve any initial issues.
- Utilize project management software to document all processes effectively.
- Oversee Installation Assistants, ensuring quality control and efficient time management.
- Inspect and test systems to confirm compliance with specifications and plans.
- Manage transitions in ductwork on-site.
- Ensure all company assets and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be ready to commence work by 7:30 am.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HVAC installation.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills.
Note: Candidates will undergo a background check and drug screening upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.
