We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Pipeline Health System, LLC. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care to patients with pulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care modes for patients.
- Coordinate patient care within the overall medical plan of care in conjunction with physician's orders and department/hospital guidelines.
- Provide care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Actively contribute to department operations and communications, upholding standards of AIDET patient communication.
- Minimum six (6) months' experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience as a respiratory care practitioner, with the ability to train new graduates from accredited schools.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, with strong organizational skills.
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification for the state of employment, required.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire.
