Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Distribution Driver Class A or B to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, LLC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to clients, inspecting vehicles, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other establishments across the state
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
  • Receive payment for goods delivered and process transactions accurately
  • Sort merchandise by invoice for delivery and adhere to safe and courteous operation of the delivery vehicle
  • Check-in money and returned goods daily with the accounting team
  • Complete all required paperwork, including the Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report
  • Report to work in adherence to company uniform standards and adhere to all safety regulations
  • Plan trip logistics, obtain necessary documents, and load/unload cargo safely
  • Ensure cargo is secured properly and compliant with safety requirements
  • Report any incidents to the dispatcher and follow all traffic laws
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • 21 years or older
  • Must be Department of Transportation (DOT) certified
  • Commercial Driver's License required
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include frequent sitting and operating a motor vehicle, as well as considerable time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping. Additional hours may be required during peak periods.
