About the Role

The City of Cibolo is seeking a Senior Planner who will play a key role in shaping the city's future by developing and implementing long-range plans that promote sustainable growth and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and analyzing demographic and economic trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop strategies for addressing these challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-range plans that promote sustainable growth and development
  • Track and analyze demographic and economic trends
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies for addressing these challenges
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful plan implementation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Urban/Regional/Community Planning, Public Administration, Urban Studies/Affairs, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in long-range planning and/or development services with a municipality
  • American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification or the ability to obtain one within one (1) year

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $62,709.38 - $94,064.08 per year, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
