Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Estimator to join our team at MRINetwork Jobs. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for civil projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Estimation: Develop and maintain cost databases, provide conceptual estimates, and create hard bid estimates for civil and highway projects.
  • Cost Management: Establish timelines and budgets, review and comment on estimates provided by others, and provide independent estimates of change orders.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders through effective verbal and written communication.
  • Project Management: Lead productive, multi-discipline meetings, and stay in contact with past clients for repeat work.
Requirements
  • Education: A four-year degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Estimator with a civil contractor focused on large civil projects, preferably with experience working with PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike.
  • Skills: Solid communication and negotiation skills, ability to multi-task, and experience with cost estimation and project management.
