Early Childhood Educator

About the Role:

Elco Child Care Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a Montessori-inspired center, we provide a nurturing environment for children to develop at their own pace. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and be able to create engaging lesson plans that promote independence, freedom, and respect for each child's unique needs.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement daily routines that promote a sense of community and belonging.
• Coordinate activities that foster socialization, creativity, and exploration.
• Clean and maintain the classroom setting and facility to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Develop and implement weekly Montessori-based lesson plans that cater to each child's individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of children's developmental milestones and progress.

Requirements:

• No degree required, but a passion for child development and education is essential.
• All employees must be able to pass a background check and provide references.
• Must be open to taking state-regulated training and professional development opportunities.
