We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Leader who will provide overall supervision and direction of the preconstruction and construction efforts on assigned projects. Key responsibilities include ensuring the Murray Company safety program is followed, planning and organizing project management and field engineer positions, establishing project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards, and promoting the Company Mission Statement.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and A/E contacts to facilitate pre-construction and construction activities.
  • Oversee the overall quality of work performed and assist project teams to report quality issues.
  • Develop new business opportunities relative to clients, groups of clients, or types of projects.
  • Plan, organize, and staff project management and field engineer positions through corporate department heads.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience managing projects in process, industrial, or mechanical, with 15+ years preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Experience in building successful project teams and managing teams of 10 or more.
  • Previous experience managing multiple $20M+ process mechanical projects.
