Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Graduate Nurses to join our team of Professional Staff Nurses at UPMC Hamot. As a Graduate Nurse at UPMC Hamot, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and developing your nursing skills and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and effective patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among colleagues
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
