Job Description

Soleo Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Supervisor to support our Home Infusion Specialty Pharmacy. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for the administration of nursing services, directing and coordinating the activities of professional nursing and agency nursing personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients
  • Implement and manage physician orders related to nursing
  • Select, train, develop, and motivate a highly skilled professional and allied staff
  • Ensure timely completion of orientation, maintenance of clinical competence, and evaluation of departmental staff
  • Verify patient information, assess, teach, and schedule nursing services in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Ensure accurate completion, submission, and filing of patient-related documentation according to internal and external regulatory requirements
  • Participate in planning, decision-making, and implementation of service center activities affecting clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Secure and maintain professional certifications, accreditations, and employment requirements as required of the nursing staff and department
  • Coordinate patient care with the nurse scheduler and clinical coordinator
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing of nursing documentation
  • Promote efficiency and productivity of the nursing department in conjunction with the nurse manager
  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager and Operations Manager to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs, and systems
  • Ensure own professional growth and clinical competence
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards of conduct
  • Report any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct to the appropriate management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in infusion therapy
  • Minimum 1 year of management experience in Home Health, with proven ability to manage, train, and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN, MSN preferred
  • Current RN licensure by the applicable state's Board of Nursing, in good standing
  • Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g. CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with no significant restrictions on that license
  • On-call requirement: This position requires participation in an on-call rotation, nights and weekends included, providing as-needed support outside of regular business hours to address urgent issues and ensure continuous operations
  • Administrative oversight: Responsible for providing administrative oversight, including monitoring of workflows, ensuring compliance with policies, and managing resources efficiently to meet organizational objectives
  • Emergency availability: Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on operations
  • Clinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill, and knowledge of all types of IV lines
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projects
  • Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies
  • Proficiency with MS Office
