We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Loan Services/Real Estate Loan Processor. This role is responsible for assisting mortgage lenders in preparing, processing, and servicing residential and consumer real estate loans.
Key Responsibilities:- Process new real estate and consumer notes, including input/output and note file maintenance.
- Assist with FNMA servicing, including remitting funds, maintaining loans on the system, and processing adjustments.
- Review and pay real estate-related invoices and process paid real estate loan files.
- Order documents and reports requested by loan originators and process secondary market loan purchases.
- Process loan files from origination through tracking of final documents.
- Assist customers with general information, payoff calculations, and daily filing of documentation.
- Minimum 2-year accounting or 4-year business education or equivalent experience.
- Ability to research and comprehend laws and regulations, including BSA/AML.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of banking operations and services, including basic accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, including written and verbal.
