Job Summary:

Tony's Muscle Cars is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Upholstery Specialist to join our team. As an employee, you will be responsible for creating and installing high-quality upholstery and convertible tops for our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and restore factory seat assemblies, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
• Repair and weld broken or rusty seat frames and springs, utilizing expertise in metalwork and fabrication.
• Install new seat covers provided by suppliers, ensuring a seamless fit and finish.
• Disassemble and remove convertible tops from vehicles, cleaning and restoring the frame and structures.
• Install new convertible tops provided by suppliers, ensuring a precise fit and secure attachment.
• Install and replace convertible top spring kits and weather strip kits, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
• Replace, install, and troubleshoot convertible top hydraulic systems, ensuring smooth operation of the power convertible top.
• Adjust convertible top assembly to fit the windshield structure and side windows, ensuring a precise and secure fit.
• Install and adjust side glass to fit the car and convertible top, ensuring a seamless and secure fit.
• Create templates for custom trunk compartments and cover the templates with the requested material, including vinyl, leather, and carpeting.

Requirements:

• Highly motivated and experienced Automotive Upholstery Technician with a strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in designing upholstery cover patterns and cutting plans, based on sketches, customer descriptions, or blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of fabric and upholstery methods, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
