Company Overview:
Integrity Trade Services is seeking a Production Supervisor for our engineering manufacturing client, offering a competitive salary between $75K and $90K.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight:
- Direct and manage daily operations within the production department, ensuring optimal workforce allocation and precise product output.
- Identify and address material capacity challenges and resolve internal issues, including shortages.
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Continuously instruct production staff on best practices and procedures, strictly adhering to the company's manufacturing standards.
- Spend a significant portion of time on the production floor, collaborating closely with team members throughout all manufacturing stages.
- Collaboration and Issue Resolution:
- Work in conjunction with support teams (Procurement, Engineering, and Quality) to address customer and internal challenges, minimizing delivery and scheduling conflicts.
- Facilitate daily shop Key Performance Indicator (KPI) meetings and provide weekly updates to senior management.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance assessments for team members and ensure compliance with company policies and performance standards.
- Uphold and enforce all Environmental Health and Safety regulations both internally and externally.
Work Schedule:
Typical hours are from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role overseeing a team of 20 or more.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in instructing and interpreting GD&T and Welding Symbols.
- Experience with ISO and Total Quality Management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Capability to analyze production reports and metrics to make informed decisions that impact operational goals.
