Job Summary

The Senior Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in Drug File Administration, responsible for reviewing and validating drug data received from external vendors, including FDB, Medispan, FDA, DailyMed, and APD Analytics, to support prescription claims processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality expectations, manage defects, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Review and validate drug data received from external vendors enabling clients to make decisions on formularies
  • Manipulate and override files sent on a variety of intervals; daily, weekly, monthly and from multiple vendors.
  • Analyze drug data from multiple vendors to ensure accuracy and resolve data issues in collaboration with internal partners or vendors.
  • Identify errors from data, investigate and lead efforts toward resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with internal business partners and data vendor to resolve technical issues.
  • Managing proprietary drug data processes and serve as drug data subject matter expert in support of drug data related projects and client/regulatory audits.
  • Collaborate with Clinical teams to translate configuration requirements into coding for Data Analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in file management and inputting clinical information within a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting.
  • Expertise in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Must have familiarity with Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) activities and formulary management tools and options.
  • First Databank (FDB) ideal
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of adhering to timelines and project deadlines.
