Key Responsibilities:- Deliver safe and effective patient care in the operating room, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Maryland or a compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room.
- Knowledge of AORN standards and Universal Precautions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
