Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Trailer Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Trailer Technician to join our team at C&S Wholesale Services, LLC. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for performing core elements of fleet maintenance, primarily with trailer chassis assets, while also gaining exposure to other fleet assets within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct asset inspections and complete small repairs, ensuring successful completion of preventative maintenance tasks within internal fleet maintenance specs and TRU OEM specs.
  • Participate in supporting other technicians to develop skills and expertise, while also contributing to ongoing cycle of learning and training.
  • Complete ongoing manufacturer training and certification, as well as support shop projects to optimize asset up-time and productivity.
  • Complete work orders for thoroughness and detailed history, demonstrating a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • ASE certifications and a base understanding of mechanical principles and aptitude to complete repairs on heavy-duty equipment with moderate instruction.
  • Proficiency in vehicle maintenance systems, commercial truck components, and driver D.O.T. regulations.
  • Physical abilities to perform heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling, as well as 8 hours of contiguous standing, squatting, and twisting.
  • Pride in high work quality and high attention to detail and accuracy.
