Position Overview
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will engage in moderately complex assembly tasks for our Ultramax transmission products under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties outline the essential functions of this role, though they are not exhaustive:

  • Assemble and fine-tune various Ultramax products from inception to completion.
  • Conduct testing on finished units and perform quality inspections on components.
  • Prepare products for shipment, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
  • Utilize a spot welding machine effectively.
  • Execute tasks as outlined by supervisors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with external contacts to share relevant work information.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and safety procedures.

Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.


Required Experience and Skills
  • 1-2 years of assembly experience; a high school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, work instructions, and other technical documents.
  • Basic writing skills for recording essential information.
  • Competence in basic arithmetic and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with air tools, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to follow sequential tasks.
  • Experience in troubleshooting familiar problems based on past experiences.
