Job Summary

The Culinary Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for residents, families, and guests. This role involves preparing, cooking, and serving meals while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook meals for residents, families, and guests, adhering to established recipes and production guidelines.
  2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of food and supplies, reporting shortages or overages to the supervisor.
  3. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  4. Team Collaboration: Partner with department leaders to maintain awareness of facility events and activities, ensuring adequate product and labor are available.
  5. Special Diets and Requests: Accommodate residents with special diets and requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Requirements

  • Safety and Sanitation: Demonstrate proper safety and sanitation techniques as part of the work.
