Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide exceptional lifetime care to our patients. With our robust Hygiene mentor program and unparalleled educational offerings, you will have the support you need to develop your clinical skills and provide the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education
  • Work collaboratively with our dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in our Hygiene mentor program to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies through ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • New grads and experienced hygienists are welcome
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year
