Key Responsibilities:

As an Automated Systems Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the operation of all automated equipment on-site.
  • Ensuring departmental compliance with health and safety policies and standards.
  • Motivating the engineering team through effective leadership, coaching, and development.
  • Conducting one-on-one meetings, training sessions, and appraisals, as well as participating in recruitment efforts.
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance activities and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Performing mechanical replacements of worn components, including rollers, bearings, pulleys, and pneumatic systems.
  • Engaging in electrical tasks such as interpreting electrical schematics, utilizing testing equipment like multimeters, and troubleshooting control panels.
  • Executing component swaps and participating in strip and rebuild projects.
  • Contributing to project initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, focusing on engineering solutions rather than temporary fixes.

Candidate Profile:

To excel in the role of Automated Systems Maintenance Supervisor, candidates should possess:

  • The ability to perform under pressure.
  • Experience managing engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience conducting shift handovers.
  • A relevant engineering qualification.
  • A desire to advance a career within a state-of-the-art industry.
