Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at US Engine Valve. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and specifying advanced electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems, as well as improving manufacturing support and maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specify advanced electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce scrap and increase uptime.
  • Drive capital projects from strategic planning to installation and handoff to operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement world-class processes, equipment, and workflow.
  • Provide engineering support to production equipment and processes, including advising maintenance teams.
  • Establish programs for cost savings activities to support overall plant requirements.
  • Advise on improving preventative maintenance programs and consult with suppliers and internal engineers for continuous improvement.
  • Authorize and approve changes to machine tool programs.
  • Train associates on new technologies and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain and follow Quality Management System and Environmental Management System requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems.
  • Technical knowledge in mechanical design.
  • Detailed abilities in capital equipment justification, project scheduling, and managerial planning.
  • Human relations and mentorship skills.
  • Preferred experience in data-driven analysis and problem-solving methods.
