KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties may be assigned as needed:

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to address departmental needs.
  • Support recruitment efforts for various roles.
  • Manage job requisitions for non-exempt positions.
  • Screen candidates and build a talent pipeline.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for open positions.
  • Assist in conducting thorough investigations related to employee grievances and concerns.
  • Provide performance management guidance to leadership.
  • Enhance workplace relationships and boost employee morale.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for management.
  • Assist with unemployment claims.
  • Facilitate training programs, including orientation and customer service training.
  • Maintain internal communications through various channels.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
  • Offer guidance on HR policies and compliance.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Analyze HR data to inform strategy on turnover and engagement.
  • Support wellness and retention initiatives.
  • Exemplify superior customer service in all interactions.
  • Ensure confidentiality in all HR matters.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Two to four years of HR experience preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other computer applications.
  • Ability to engage with various organizational levels.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation abilities.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety instructions and manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and calculations.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems.

CERTIFICATIONS:
Must qualify for necessary licenses and permits as per regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to stand, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Noise levels may be high, and exposure to secondhand smoke is possible.
