Overview

As a Central Supply Materials Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of procedural area supplies. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and assisting with daily inventory management and control, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

This role requires the use of analytic tools to accurately capture spend and utilization data in support of inventory control and management. You will work closely with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain, from procurement to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and assists with daily inventory management and control
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
  • Uses analytic tools to accurately capture spend and utilization data

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years' of related experience, including 1 year in Materials Management or Clinical Area
  • ERP system experience, such as Lawson
  • Warehouse organization and operational experience
  • Knowledge of Epic decremented inventory
  • Understanding of operating room products and their uses
  • Knowledge of PO pricing and GL interaction
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
