Job Title: Branch Manager

Granite City Electric Supply is a leading electrical distributor serving electrical contractors and customers across multiple states.

We are seeking a highly skilled Branch Manager to lead our Methuen, MA location and drive business growth through exceptional customer service and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall operation of the store in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and provide value-add services in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create a competitive advantage and be held accountable for the financial performance of the branch.
  • Proactively manage and develop accounts in the area to maximize sales.
  • Train, supervise, and coach employees in products, procedures, and selling skills.
  • Delegate and assign duties as necessary for the smooth and efficient running of the facility.
  • Responsible for inventory control and maintaining accurate records.
  • Keep employees informed and up-to-date about Company, product, and code changes.
  • Provide customer quotations and product information as requested.
  • Promote teamwork and interdepartmental cooperation.
  • Analyze situations, identify problems, and evaluate alternative courses of action.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years in a sales/supervisory capacity, preferably at an electrical distributor.
  • Business, construction, and/or electrical industry exposure is a must.
  • Flexible and adaptable to business needs and conditions.
  • Possess and demonstrate effective leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion to continually improve processes and relationships.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and the ability to use an ERP.
Education and/or Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent proven experience is required for the position.
