Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at a Critical Access Hospital in a scenic location of New Mexico. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain aseptic equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
  • Assist registered nurses with patient preparation and discharge.
  • Utilize safe patient care and work practices to minimize the risk of injury to patients, caregivers, and self.
  • Ensure that needed supplies and equipment are ready and available.
  • Minimize waste and complete end-of-day activities to maintain a clean and organized surgical environment.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
