About the Role

The Urology Assistant provides administrative and clinical support to the urology clinics. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating respect and consideration for fellow staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative tasks: answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, distributing patient records, and preparing new patient charts.
  • Clinical tasks: obtaining vital signs, assisting with office procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized examination room.
  • Communication: greeting patients, escorting them to examination rooms, and verifying patient information.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant degree from an accredited institution or community college course in Medical Assisting.
  • Minimum of one year experience preferred.
  • Certified in Medical Assisting strongly preferred.
