We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System.
About UsNorman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area, providing innovative cardiovascular care. Our comprehensive program features a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to deliver exceptional patient care. Our facility has received prestigious awards, including American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Job SummaryThis position requires preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participating in the orientation of new staff.
The successful candidate will have strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. This role offers opportunities for growth and development within our dynamic team.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants must:
- Hold current certifications from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
- Have completed a formal Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular program
- Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire and maintain it throughout employment
- Achieve Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within six months of hire and maintain it throughout employment
This role comes with an attractive compensation package, with hourly rates ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 based on previous experience.
