Role Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for conducting standard and advanced neurodiagnostic tests, including Electroencephalograms (EEG), Nerve Conduction Studies, and Evoked Potentials. You will assist physicians with patients across all age groups, from infants to the elderly, and provide on-call and PRN coverage as needed. Your duties will also encompass clerical and technical responsibilities within the Neurology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing including EEG for various age groups and conditions.
- Conduct Evoked Potential tests and assist in comprehensive neurological assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient tests and results.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- BLS certification.
- Less than one year of experience in EEG preferred.
- Preferred education includes a vocational or associate degree.
- 1-3 years of EEG experience is advantageous.
