Job Overview

SOLARCYCLE, Inc is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in the design and construction of a cutting-edge solar panel recycling facility. This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering company in the renewable energy industry and contribute to the development of a sustainable solution for the solar industry's end-of-life systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, including electrical, controls/automation, and mechanical disciplines.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems for the new recycling facility.
  • Act as an individual contributor when necessary, leveraging expertise in mechanical or electrical engineering to support the team in the completion of design and development tasks.
  • Assist the Director of Engineering in recruiting experienced top talent to build out the engineering team in Cedartown.
  • Develop training and development plans for team members to ensure skill growth and project success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in an Engineering Manager role overseeing direct reports.
  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and/or automation engineering.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to the field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale engineering projects.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
