Job Summary

As a Warehouse Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and processing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of merchandise throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process shipments in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the safe and efficient movement of merchandise
  • Develop and post delivery schedules, compile and organize receiving reports, and verify merchandise counts
  • Route merchandise to proper locations and pay expenses
  • Track and process claims, return damaged goods, handle liquidation merchandise, and maintain and clean the clearance area
  • Maintain safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity

Requirements
  • Forklift Certification or will obtain within 30 days of job entry date
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving environment
