About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team at Kettering Health. As a key member of our Maternal Fetal Medicine department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-risk obstetrical ultrasounds and specialized exams, including Nuchal Translucency and doppler studies
  • Apply imaging techniques to produce high-quality ultrasound images
  • Work closely with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging techniques and technologies
  • Analyze and summarize image findings for physicians
Requirements
  • Completion of an approved program in Diagnostic Ultrasound or an Associate's degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer registration by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or board eligibility
  • Nuchal Translucency certification within 12 months of start date
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
