Job Title: Extruder Operator I

At Evergreen Recycling Inc, we're committed to making a positive impact on the environment. Our mission is to provide a sustainable supply of quality recycled materials, and we're looking for a skilled Extruder Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain large equipment, including extruders and dryers
  • Monitor and adjust feed rates and equipment speeds to ensure optimal production
  • Perform regular screen changes and screen pack audits to maintain product quality
  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily and weekly production goals
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to weather elements, dust, noise, heat, cold, and fumes found in a shop environment
  • Approximately 12 hours per day standing and/or walking

Compensation:

$18.67 per hour
