Position Summary
The Healthcare Sales Representative is tasked with promoting and selling the full range of Apria products and services within the designated sales region. This role collaborates closely with branch personnel to concentrate efforts on boosting sales performance.

Additionally, the Healthcare Sales Representative will partner with the General Manager or Sales Manager to devise and implement targeted strategies aimed at achieving sales objectives, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving profitability.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily outreach to establish new and nurture existing relationships with referral sources in the medical sector.
  • Develop and maintain strategic call plans to qualify new referrals and sustain current business relationships.
  • Document call plans and outcomes in the CRM system.
  • Utilize Apria's analytics and reports to pinpoint potential referral targets.
  • Collaborate with the Market VP to assess the sales territory call plan and meet strategic goals.
  • Educate referral sources on the application and benefits of Apria's products and services.
  • Address and follow up on customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Work in conjunction with branch management and staff, as well as other departments, to promote sales growth.
  • Communicate Medicare guidelines and private insurance procedures, pricing, and product information to referral sources.
  • Maintain accurate records for prospective and active accounts, ensuring timely information is relayed to billing and reimbursement offices.
  • Ensure all billing documentation is thorough and precise.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
A college degree or relevant experience is required.
1-3 years of experience in selling services or commodity products with a proven track record of success is preferred.
External sales experience is advantageous.
