We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care within our continuous care team. This role involves working night shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM, with a flexible schedule that includes weekend duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Primary Registered Nurse (RN) to assess and address the needs of patients and their families.
- Coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to ensure comprehensive service delivery under physician directives.
- Utilize clinical skills to monitor patient conditions, implement interventions, and educate families to enhance patient comfort and quality of life.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a state-approved Practical Nursing program and a minimum of one year of clinical experience.
- Active LPN license in the State of Florida.
Certifications:
- Current CPR certification from a recognized provider.
- IV Therapy certification is preferred; candidates should be willing to obtain this within six months.
- Proof of a valid Florida State Driver's License and automobile insurance is required.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Proficient in multitasking and critical thinking.
- Competent in typing and computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance regulations.
