CHI Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our ICU team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including cardiac rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations
- Current Oregon RN license or ability to obtain within 90 days
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Experience in ICU or critical care setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Our ICU is a 16-bed unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. We have a team-oriented culture and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. Our unit is equipped with the latest technology, including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPap.
