Job Title: Shuttle Driver

At SP+, we are driven by our promise to make every moment matter for a world on the go. As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of bus interiors
  • Log trip counts and assist disabled passengers
  • Be at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform
  • Possess a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain an acceptable DMV record
  • Courteously assist customers and direct them to the Facility Manager if necessary
  • Report any known accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other issues to the garage office
  • Substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary and authorized
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area
  • Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable
  • Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid state driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, if required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively to customers and employees
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's, and perform these operations using units of American money
  • Appearance: maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times
  • Physical Demands: stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment, sit, climb, balance, lift, and move up to 75 pounds
