Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Operations Assistant to join our team at Sun Outdoors. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for assisting in all food and beverage operations, including the restaurant, deli, snack bar, and room service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain current menus within our database and ensure pricing is updated to reflect management's directives.
  • Ensure all state and county Health Department licenses and signage are posted as directed.
  • Provide data entry of all food and beverage inventory numbers each month and organize information in the proper format for review.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory control, monthly inventory counts, reconciling inventory with invoices, and maintaining proper inventory to sustain food and beverage operations.
  • Assist management in ensuring cash drawers are reconciled and the proper amounts of cash are dropped in the safe at the end of each shift.
  • Review cash verification reports and daily revenue reports to track sales.
  • Generate daily reports to track sales and provide data entry for order guides as directed by management.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of our POS system and routinely check the system to ensure items are scanning properly.
  • Work with vendors to ensure proper billing procedures and net terms.
  • Ensure that pricing is properly marked on all food and retail products on the floor.
  • Assist with displays and sets in the restaurant and retail areas of the resort.
  • Report any issues with food and beverage equipment to management and assist in scheduling repairs, as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 6 months food and beverage experience
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
