Assessing the educational needs of patients and their families and providing tailored education based on age, culture, and health status is essential.

The nurse acts as an advocate for the patient's physical and emotional health.

Adherence to established policies, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols is required.

Annual demonstration of core competencies is expected, along with completing comprehensive assessments as per hospital guidelines.

Formulating nursing diagnoses based on assessments of acute and chronic health issues is part of the responsibilities.

Effective communication of all patient assessment data with healthcare professionals is crucial.

Developing and revising care plans according to nursing guidelines is necessary for patient management.

Minimum Education
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Current RN license in the State of Michigan
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Licenses
Valid RN license in the State of Michigan.
