Groundwater Sampling Specialist

Job Summary

The Groundwater Sampler will complete response actions involving Release Abatement Measures, Immediate Response Actions, and Phase I and II investigations at hazardous waste sites.

As a key member of our team, you will assist the project team with completing inspection, sampling, and monitoring events at North American Clean Harbors and other facilities.

Travel across the continental United States is possible and will be necessary for this role.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, biology, chemistry, or a related discipline is required.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts Contingency Plan and environmental guidance policies are also helpful.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Provides assistance on small to midsize, technically complex projects involving groundwater sampling, waste site cleanup, and construction, building, and equipment decontamination.
• Prepares data tables and written reports.
• Oversee technicians in order to meet project objectives and project budget expectations.
• Provides technical support to field service offices.
• Manages procurement for projects including materials, equipment rental, temporary labor, and subcontractors.
• Provides technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates, and subcontractor selection and procurement.
