As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring high-quality products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and organized produce department, including rotating stock, cleaning and trimming produce, and ensuring merchandise is in saleable condition.

Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer questions, handling special requests, and resolving customer concerns in a polite and professional manner.

Assist in building attractive displays and maintaining the salad bar and cut fruit/vegetable as needed.

Accurately complete necessary product logs and handle spoiled and damaged product according to company policy.

Assist in minimizing shrink and controlling damages, reporting shortages and overages to manager.

May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries, as well as baling cardboard or other related duties if properly trained.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and take on new challenges is essential.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenges.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
