AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a Marriage and Family Therapist to fill a long-term contract position in Chowchilla, California.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified MFT to provide services within the facility policies, under the supervision of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker or their designee. The successful candidate will have experience in assessing and delivering interventions, education, and counseling services in marriage, couples, family, and individual contexts.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide clinical interventions, including counseling (group and individual)
  • Collaborate with other professionals, contribute to care planning, and coordinate interdisciplinary care
  • Assist in transitional care planning, connecting patients with community resources upon release
  • Administer Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with Substance Use Disorders, both individually and in groups
  • Conduct assessments for patients preparing for release
Requirements
  • Valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science
  • At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years
Compensation
