About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RN/LPN to join our team as a Complex Medical Specialist. This role will provide 24-7 residential skilled nursing care in a family-focused environment to young adults with complex medical needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a full range of nursing care based on the fundamentals of the nursing process and physician's orders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records as defined by nursing standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, families, and staff to ensure assigned child's care needs are assessed, communicated, and met.
  • Provide training to children and young adults, families, and staff as needed to advance their skills and knowledge.
  • Demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServe equipment, supplies, and environment.
Requirements
  • Current valid license as a RN/LPN in Iowa.
  • Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
  • This position requires a seasonal COVID vaccination or approved exemption.
