Join Our Team as a Home Health Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team at Johns Hopkins Care at Home. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personal care services and basic non-nursing/non-medical care activities for our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Monitor and report any changes in the patient's condition to the registered nurse
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement a care plan that meets the patient's needs

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a Home Health Aide training program
  • Active, valid HHA License with the DC Board of Health
  • Current CPR certification from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • 6 months experience as a HHA/CNA preferred
